Restorative Dentistry and Dental Crowns
 

Crowns, or caps for teeth, look and function just like natural teeth. Your dentist may recommend a crown if your tooth has enough decay that it cannot hold a filling, or if your tooth is cracked or broken and in danger of cracking down into the root if left unattended. A crown is a restoration that covers a tooth to protect and restore it to its natural shape and size while strengthening and improving its appearance.

With our new CEREC III we can complete many of our crowns in a single visit.  These porcelain (tooth-colored) restorations are bonded to your teeth to create one of the most attractive, strongest, and longest lasting methods of fixing broken and decayed teeth.

A bridge may be utilized to replace one or more teeth. It spans the gap left by the missing tooth, and is usually anchored to the two existing teeth on either side of the gap.
